LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has said that he will be contesting in the 2018 general elections on his slain mother’s seat and is confident that his party will win.
“I will become the next prime minister of Pakistan in 2018” Bilawal said while addressing party workers in Lahore on Saturday.
Continuing his outburst against the government, Bilawal said that government had failed to implement the National Action Plan (NAP) and it was time to admit to its failures.
He also criticized Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for not fulfilling his duties to the country and suggests him to pack up.
He said that even after serving in the position three times, PM Nawaz is still not ready to do his job.
“If Nawaz isn’t ready to do his job, I’ll do it. I’m ready to do it,” the 28-year-old PPP chairman said.
He claimed that government offices across all provinces will hoist the PPP’s flag after the 2018 general election.
